Isabel Duarte

Isabel Duarte has extensive experience in pharmacovigilance and regulatory affairs, currently serving as the Country Pharmacovigilance Lead at MSD Portugal since February 1997. Isabel has successfully initiated and maintained the Pharmacovigilance unit with 100% compliance for over 13 years, undertook the role of Technical Director ensuring quality compliance in distribution and supply chain management, and has managed Regulatory Affairs, overseeing new product applications, renewals, and various compliance-related tasks. Additionally, Isabel has held the position of Medical Information Manager, focusing on information center management and promotional materials validation. Isabel's educational background includes a Post-graduation in Pharmacovigilance and Risk Management from the University of Hertfordshire and foundational studies in pharmacy from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa and the University of Lisbon.
