Ervina Yap

Ervina Yap possesses extensive experience in finance, currently serving as the AVP of Finance at MSIG Asia since June 2019, where responsibilities include leading the IFRS 17 project and managing the finance operations of the regional holding company. Prior to this role, Ervina worked as a Finance Manager for the Asia Division at IAG from May 2011 to March 2019, assisting the CFO with financial initiatives and stakeholder relationships. Earlier experience includes positions such as Regional Finance Assistant Manager at Cigna International, where financial reporting and internal controls were key focuses, and Assistant Manager of Corporate Planning at Tokio Marine Insurance Group, emphasizing performance reporting and business strategy analysis. Ervina's foundational finance expertise was developed as a Senior Executive at Zurich Insurance Company Ltd. Ervina holds a degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from the National University of Singapore and has pursued additional education in insurance and accountancy.
