Jackson Allen

Jackson Allen is a seasoned professional in the film and multimedia industry with extensive experience in management and technical roles. Currently serving as Camera Rental Manager and Camera Prep Technician at Red Star since September 2023, Jackson also holds the position of Manager at MSP Film Society, overseeing operations for box office, concessions, and theater technology since June 2019. Jackson contributed to the selection process for the 42nd International Film Festival as a member of the Selection Committee. Previous roles include Technical Director at Kaplan, where responsibilities included producing and directing product recordings, and OEC Multimedia Consultant at the University of St. Thomas, directing and producing university productions. Early experience as a Student Technician at the University of Minnesota involved training students in using professional studio equipment. Jackson Allen earned a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from the University of Minnesota in May 2021.
