Shelia Murphy

Shelia Murphy, CPA, is an accomplished audit professional with over a decade of experience in internal audit and financial oversight. Currently serving as Audit Manager and Audit Team Lead at M&T Bank since April 2022, Shelia previously held multiple roles at People's United Bank, N.A., including Director of Internal Audit and Audit Manager from January 2015 to April 2022. Additional experience includes a tenure as Senior Associate at KPMG US from October 2010 to January 2015, and internships at KPMG in 2008 and 2009. Shelia holds both a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from Pace University - Lubin School of Business.
