Urban Planning And Sustainability Coordinator at Mt. Lebanon Municipality

Gregory Wharton is an experienced urban planning and sustainability professional currently serving as the Urban Planning and Sustainability Coordinator for Mt. Lebanon Municipality since May 2022. In this role, Gregory develops and implements community sustainability initiatives while managing site plan applications and municipal projects. Prior to this, Gregory worked as a Planning and Development Specialist at Cranberry Township, overseeing residential and commercial land development projects, and served as the Zoning and Code Enforcement Officer for the Borough of Etna. Early career experience includes positions as a Municipal Management Assistant at the Township of Reserve, various roles as a Student Planner at the Indiana County Office of Planning and Development, and an internship with Allegheny County Economic Development. Gregory holds a Master of Arts in Public Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
