Abhishek Prakash

Abhishek Prakash has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple industries and roles. Abhishek is currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at mTalkz Mobility Services (P) Limited since August 2020. Prior to this, Abhishek worked for IBM for a significant portion of their career. At IBM, they held various positions including General Manager- Client Solution Executive, Managing Consultant, Solutions Leader, and AGM-Sales and Solutioning. During their time at IBM, Abhishek was responsible for acquiring and managing large deals across various sectors such as Banking, Telecom, Government, Public, and Industrial. Abhishek also played a crucial role in defining winning strategies, profitability, and solution offerings for clients.

Before joining IBM, Abhishek worked for Wipro Technologies as a Solutions Leader for Manufacturing, Technology, and Pharma verticals. In this role, they were responsible for bid qualification, response preparation, solution design, estimations, and financial construct of deals. Abhishek also promoted innovative delivery models for application support solutions.

Prior to Wipro Technologies, Abhishek worked for HCL Technologies and HCL America Inc. as a Project Manager and Program Manager, respectively. Abhishek led delivery and operations for SAP and Oracle Application support and implementation programs, as well as managed large infrastructure and applications outsourcing programs.

Abhishek's earlier experiences include working as an Anchor- US Sales Support at HCL Technologies, Associate BDG at HCL Perot, Sales Engineer at ETA, and Project Manager at Voltas Limited.

Abhishek Prakash has a diverse education history. In 1977 to 1988, they completed their 12th standard in Science at SJA, Dehradun. Later, in the period 1990 to 1994, Abhishek pursued their Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.E.) from the Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee. Subsequently, from 1998 to 2000, they attended the Indian Institute of Management, Indore, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) in the General field of study. Lastly, in 2018 to 2019, Abhishek completed a Post Graduate Program in General Management (PGPX) from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
