Zachary Ferderer

Zachary Ferderer is a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience at MTI since February 2021, where electric motors were designed according to customer specifications to create prototypes for the aerospace and industrial sectors, utilizing SOLIDWORKS for 3D modeling and drafting in compliance with ASME Y14.5 standards. Previously, Zachary served as a CO-OP Intern at Broan from January to August 2019, contributing to the development of a cycle-testing machine for smart wall switch reliability, launching new bath fans, and creating cost-saving mechanisms for electric motors. Earlier, Zachary was a CDAT Intern at Lanier High School (August 2015 - May 2016), focusing on designing electric go-karts and assisting in engineering classes while acquiring machining skills. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Marquette University, completed in December 2020.
