Armand Nganou

Armand Nganou has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Armand currently holds the position of Chief Information Officer at PwC Sub-Saharan Francophone Africa, a role they began in July 2020. Prior to this, they served as the Head of Strategy and Business Transformation at MTN Cameroon, starting in October 2017.

During their time at MTN Cameroon, Armand led a successful 18-month long business transformation program that resulted in the company's first year-over-year growth since 2015. Armand also played a key role in growing the subscriber base and implemented initiatives to achieve business objectives.

Before joining MTN Cameroon, Armand had a long tenure at the company, starting in 2005 as a Senior Manager in IT Infrastructure & Operations. Armand made significant contributions to the company's growth, overseeing the transformation of its IT infrastructure and operations. During their tenure, they also served as the Acting CIO, ensuring the alignment of IT with the business and the smooth operation of all IT services.

Prior to MTN Cameroon, Armand worked at Syscor, where they served as a System Analyst & Programmer, focusing on developing and implementing healthcare system interfaces. Armand also worked as a Software Developer at Fido Solutions and up2 Technologies, where they contributed to the design and development of web applications.

Armand Nganou holds a Master's Degree in Computer Science from Concordia University, which was obtained from 2001 to 2005. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics and Computer Science from Université de Montréal from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Armand has also obtained certifications in "Creating Your IT Strategy" from LinkedIn in 2016 and an ITIL certification from Pink Elephant South Africa.
