Paula Helene Saphir

Paula Helene Saphir is an experienced information security professional, currently serving as the Information Security Senior Manager at MTN Rwanda since January 2017. Previously, Saphir held the position of Information Security Manager at the same company and served as a Senior Network Security Engineer and Team Leader for the Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Testing Team at the Rwanda Development Board from February 2012 to December 2016. Saphir's earlier roles include Assistant Lecturer in Computer Networking at the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology and Tutorial Assistant for an Introduction to Information Security course at Carnegie Mellon University - Rwanda. Saphir began a career as a Software Engineer at Pivot Access Ltd and gained teaching experience as a Tutorial Assistant in Computer Programming at the Kigali Institute of Science and Technology. Saphir holds a Master’s Degree in Information Security from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from the National University of Rwanda.
