Dewayne Sims

DeWayne Sims has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of IT. DeWayne is currently the Director of IT at MTPCS, LLC DBA Cellular One since 2017. In this role, they are responsible for providing strategic leadership, managing IT support and maintenance operations, and overseeing network, hardware, software, and telecommunications systems. Prior to this, they served as the IT Manager at the same company starting in 2015. In this capacity, they managed day-to-day IT support, maintained systems hardware and software, and ensured efficient IT operations within the defined budget.

Before joining MTPCS, Sims worked as a Network Administrator at JENA CHOCTAW PINES CASINO from 2013 to 2015. In this role, they developed department plans, goals, and objectives, and ensured compliance with gaming regulations.

Previously, Sims was an IT Engineer at ASI System Integration, Inc. from 2008 to 2013. DeWayne'sresponsibilities included providing technical customer support over multiple operating systems platforms remotely, performing systems analysis and troubleshooting, and installing and maintaining OS applications and equipment.

Sims also gained experience as a Lead IT Technician / Logistics Specialist at Data Applications Corporation from 2007 to 2008. Here, they installed and maintained OS applications, provided customer support, and performed technical engineering tasks.

DeWayne Sims pursued their education from 2007 to 2010 at Kaplan University, where they earned an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications.
