Suvi Aherto

Suvi Aherto has a diverse background in various roles and organizations. Suvi is currently the Head of Corporate Communications and Responsibility at MTV Oy. Prior to this, they served as a Board Member at Espoon Asunnot Oy (Espoonkruunu) and has previously held roles such as Director of Marketing, Communications, and Sustainability at the 2022 IIHF Ice Hockey World Championship, Press Secretary at the Parliamentary Group of the National Coalition Party, Trade Commissioner and Special Adviser at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland, and Special Adviser to the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance at the Prime Minister's Office. Suvi has also held positions in organizations such as Tero Saarinen Company, Terveydenhuollon palveluntuottajat, and Association for Private Healthcare Services. Later, from 2004 to 2008, Suvi pursued higher education at the University of Helsinki, earning a Master's Degree in Social Sciences. In 2017, they attended UCLA and specialized in Marketing/Marketing Management, General. Continuing their educational journey in 2018, Suvi enrolled in Harvard Business School Online and completed The Credential of Readiness, focusing on Business Analytics, Economics for Managers, and Financial Accounting. Finally, also in 2018, Suvi attended Stanford Continuing Studies to expand their knowledge in Business Administration and Management, General.
