Sophie Ollivier

Sophie Ollivier has had a solid career in legal and business affairs within the entertainment industry. Sophie currently holds the position of Vice President Legal Business Affairs at MUBI, a role they began in 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Paramount+ as Senior Legal Counsel, Scripted Originals Studios from 2018 to 2022, where they were responsible for negotiating deals and drafting agreements for the development and production of scripted programs. Before joining Paramount+, Sophie had their own consulting company called Sophie Ollivier Consultant Limited from 2017 to 2020, where they provided legal and business affairs support to various television, film, and advertising companies. Sophie also served as the Business Affairs Manager, EMEA at Apple from 2015 to 2016, where they curated and cleared third-party content for marketing communications. Sophie's early career included roles such as Head of Legal & Business Affairs at ALMEGA PROJECTS LIMITED from 2006 to 2015 and Legal & Business Affairs Manager at PATHE RENN in 2005.

Sophie Ollivier has a background in law and media studies. Sophie attended the University of Montpellier from 1997 to 1998, where they obtained a degree in Business Law. Sophie then pursued further education at the University of Law in Aix en Provence and Barreau de Paris from 1999 to 2000, earning a DEA Droit des Medias degree in Media, Copyright, and Intellectual Property law. Later, Sophie attended the EFB from 2001 to 2003, obtaining a Qualified Lawyer degree with a specialization in IP and Media Law.
