Nichole Proffitt is a seasoned Mindfulness Instructor, Coach, and Consultant with over a decade of experience in mindfulness education and application across various settings. Currently, Nichole serves as a mindfulness researcher at UCSF Medical Center, focusing on NIH-funded studies regarding mindfulness for patients with HIV and diabetes, while also teaching Enhanced Stress Resilience Training at the UCSF Center for Mindfulness in Surgery aimed at preventing burnout among medical professionals. Additionally, Nichole instructs mindfulness-based stress reduction courses at the UCSF Osher Center for Integrative Medicine, supports at-risk teens through mindfulness practices at Muir Wood Adolescent and Family Services, and has contributed to curriculum development for mindfulness programs designed for youth.
