Yasu/Robert Wasem/Yoshii

Yasu/Robert Wasem/Yoshii started as a Law Clerk at two different legal offices before becoming a Visiting Attorney at Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP in 2010. In 2011, they became a Legal Consultant and Advisor at UBIC, Inc and later became a Partner at Cross-border Data Management in 2013. From 2014 to 2022, they were an Attorney at Law at Information Governance Advisory Services, where they provided legal advice on information governance. In 2017, they became the President of IG Japan before leaving in 2018 to become a Senior Director at 3DOM Inc. Yasu/Robert continued working in the legal field as an Associate at GI&T Law Office in 2022 and later became a Senior Legal Counsel at Mujin in 2023.

Yasu/Robert Wasem/Yoshii pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Political Science from Ohio Wesleyan University from 2001-2005. Subsequently, he/she pursued a Juris Doctor degree in International Law and Legal Studies from the University of the Pacific - McGeorge School of Law from 2005-2008. He/she then pursued a Master's degree in Economics and Statistics from Georgetown University from 2008-2010, followed by a Master's degree in Public Policy from the Georgetown University Public Policy Institute from 2009-2011.
