Thang Truong

Thang Truong has had a diverse and accomplished career in various companies. Thang is currently the Chief Product Officer at Mulberry since October 2022. Prior to that, they served as the VP - Head of Product at Mulberry from March 2021 to October 2022. Thang Truong also worked at NerdWallet as the Sr. Director of Product Management from August 2019 to March 2021, where they led a team of product managers and oversaw core marketplaces and the PFM experience for NerdWallet members. Before that, they were the Director of Product and General Manager of Loans and Insurance at NerdWallet from November 2018 to July 2019. Thang Truong also gained experience at Capital One as the Growth Product Lead from December 2016 to November 2018, where they led a team in developing the Capital One Bank Account Opening application. Prior to that, they worked as the Director of Product Management at realtor.com, where they spearheaded product innovations and new product development. Thang Truong also held roles at TigerLead Solutions, www.pawalla.com, Colgate-Palmolive, HSBC, HSBC USA, and Bain & Company. Overall, Thang Truong has a strong background in product management and a track record of successful leadership in various domains.

Thang Truong earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Economics from Foreign Trade University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. Afterward, they pursued higher education at the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, where they obtained a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Technology Management and Entrepreneurship. Thang'stime at UC Berkeley lasted from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, Truong also attended the IESE Business School for a brief period to acquire another Master of Business Administration degree specializing in Global Management.
