Jan Oberholzer

Jan Oberholzer is an experienced leader in the energy sector, currently serving as Chairman of Mulilo Energy and providing independent consulting services as Managing Director at Jafram (Pty) Ltd since March 2014. Oberholzer's previous roles include Group Chief Operating Officer at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd, where operational leadership was provided across multiple divisions, and Chairman of Eskom Rotek Industries. Additionally, Oberholzer was a director at the Electric Power Research Institute and held significant positions within Eskom from 1986 to 2008, focusing on capital expansion and project management. With educational qualifications including a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Pretoria and a Master's in Business Leadership from the University of South Africa, Oberholzer combines technical expertise with strategic leadership experience in the electricity industry across South Africa and internationally.
