Kat McLean has a strong background in media and advertising with extensive experience in various roles. Kat began their career at Sheridan West, Inc. in 2006 as a Media Buyer, where they coordinated the planning and placement of broadcast and print media budgets for a major grocery retailer. Their responsibilities included negotiating and maintaining cable and broadcast activity in ten major southeast markets and overseeing weekly broadcast traffic and competitive analysis.
In 2008, McLean joined Mullen, where they held multiple positions. Kat started as an Assistant Negotiations Specialist and quickly progressed to roles like Negotiations Specialist, Senior Negotiations Specialist, and eventually became a Negotiations Supervisor. At Mullen, they managed all aspects of the broadcast buys for Century Link and BASF Agriculture across multiple spot TV and radio markets. Kat also provided planning cost assistance, identified new broadcast opportunities, and conducted market and demographic research.
Since 2013, McLean has been working at Mediahub Worldwide. Here, they held roles such as Associate Director of Audio & Video Investment and VP, Media Director, where they utilized their expertise in cross-platform audio and video activation strategies. Kat leveraged offline, online, and proprietary data to create engaging campaigns across emerging media platforms, particularly in the Programmatic and Advanced TV space. Currently, McLean holds the position of VP, Group Media Director at Mediahub Worldwide.
Kat McLean attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2000 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Their field of study included Advertising and Political Science.
