Salvatore Guarino

Salvatore Guarino is a highly experienced surgeon currently serving as Chief of Surgery and General Surgeon at Gruppo MultiMedica since January 2017. Guarino has an extensive background in academia and clinical practice, having worked as a researcher in General Surgery at the University of Rome "La Sapienza" from October 2013 to April 2023. Previous roles include Clinical Fellow in General and GI Surgery at Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust, Clinical Fellow in Surgical Oncology and Breast Surgery at Barts Health NHS Trust, and an Upper GI Surgery Fellow. Notably, Guarino has contributed to the field as a volunteer surgeon at Ospedale Italiano di Balbala' in Djibouti.
