Chris Martin

Chris Martin currently serves as a Judge at Multnomah County Circuit Court since March 2024, following a role as an Attorney at Multnomah Defenders Inc. since November 2021. Previously, Chris held various legal positions, including Staff Attorney at St. Andrew Legal Clinic and Judicial Law Clerk at Multnomah County Circuit Court. Chris gained experience as an Extern at the Oregon Court of Appeals and worked as a Certified Legal Intern at Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic. Early legal career roles included law clerking in immigrant rights and summer law clerking at other legal centers. Chris began in the legal field as a Paralegal/Office Manager at Hala J. Gores, P.C. Chris earned a Juris Doctor from Lewis and Clark Law School, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Historical & Cultural Studies from Marylhurst University and an Associate's Degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal from Pioneer Pacific College.
