Maitry Desai

Maitry Desai is an experienced winemaker with a career spanning over a decade in the wine industry. Currently serving as the Assistant Winemaker at Mumm Napa since August 2017, Maitry has previously held roles as Harvest Enologist and Assistant Winemaker at Treasury Wine Estates from October 2015 to March 2017, and as a Harvest Enologist at Diageo and O'Neill Vintners and Distillers. Early professional experiences include positions in winemaking and research at various wineries and institutions, following an educational background in wine science from the Eastern Institute of Technology and microbiology from Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology.
