Sanjana Kumar

Sanjana Kumar is a dedicated and multifaceted individual with extensive experience in leadership, research, and community outreach. As the National Director for Recruitment and Vice President of Outreach for Mu Epsilon Delta at the University of Michigan, Sanjana has coordinated professional development opportunities and engaged in extensive networking. In research roles at the University of Michigan School of Dentistry, focus has been on stem cell differentiation and salivary gland tissue regeneration. Sanjana is actively involved in the M-HEAL Neonatal Asphyxia Project, aiming to develop affordable neonatal care solutions. As the Global Secretary General for Outreach at MUN Impact, Sanjana has contributed to initiatives supporting the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Additional roles include teaching assistance in physics, providing academic support as a Peer Advisor, and leadership positions in various organizations promoting social justice and community engagement. Sanjana holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Michigan and an IB Diploma from the American International School Chennai.
