Sarah Mundell has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Sarah started their career as a Contributing Writer for Living City Magazine, where they researched and reported on various topics. Sarah then worked as a Feature Writing Intern for Poughkeepsie Journal, where they wrote feature stories and contributed to special sections. Sarah also served as a 5th Grade Teacher at St. Ann's Academy, where they implemented state curricular objectives and engaged in campus ministry activities.
In 2006, Sarah transitioned to an International Sales/Marketing role at Fantasy Loppiano, where they collaborated on marketing campaigns and managed client records. Sarah then joined edc-online.org as an Italian-English Translator and Web Administrator, where they accurately translated economic papers and managed the English version of the website.
From 2011 to 2018, Sarah worked as an Assistant Managing Editor for Living City Magazine, editing and proofreading issues, writing articles and essays, and spearheading special-topic issues. Sarah then became a Communications Project Manager at Southface Institute, where they produced and managed outward-facing content.
In 2021, Sarah took on the role of Thriving Faith Communities and Outreach Coordinator at HOOSIER INTERFAITH POWER & LIGHT INC, where they promoted energy efficiency programming for faith communities. Sarah also became the Director of Communications and Community Engagement at Mundell & Associates, Inc. In 2022, they joined Faith In Place as the Thriving Faith Communities Coordinator, leading energy assessments and advocating for climate action.
Throughout their career, Sarah has demonstrated skills in communication, project management, and community engagement.
Sarah Mundell received their Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from Dutchess Community College in 2003. Sarah then pursued their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in English and Journalism at SUNY New Paltz from 2003 to 2005. Later, they attended Istituto Internazionale Mistici Corporis from 2006 to 2008, completing a two-year formation program focusing on religious, social sciences, ethics, and intercultural cooperation. Finally, Sarah obtained their Master of Arts (MA) degree in Global Development and Social Justice from St. John's University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012.
