Scott Burch

Scott Burch currently serves as the Head of Global IT Risk Office and Head of Global IT Compliance & Risk at Munich Re (Group), a position held since September 2011. Prior to this, Scott was the APAC IT Governance Manager and worked as an Information Risk Consultant at Chevron from 1997 to 2010. Scott holds a Bachelor of Science with Honors in Chemistry from the University of Edinburgh, obtained from 1990 to 1994, and has pursued further education in IT risk and security, achieving multiple certifications from ISC2, ISACA, and BCI between 2001 and 2010.
