Furat Zomay

Furat Zomay, CFA, is an accomplished investment analyst currently employed at MERS of Michigan since January 2019, having previously held the position of investment intern. Furat gained valuable experience as a corporate bond/private equity intern at State Farm ®, where fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies and the presentation of a $220 million investment recommendation were key responsibilities. Additional experience includes a private equity internship at Ocean Trail Partners, focusing on due diligence and research on potential acquisitions, as well as an investment internship at Michigan State University, where oversight of investment correspondence related to a $2.8 billion endowment fund was conducted. Furat earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from Michigan State University in 2018, following general studies at Sterling Heights High School from 2010 to 2014.
