Rita Chappell

Rita Chappell has an extensive background in communications, strategic initiatives, and grant management, with experience dating back to 1988. Currently serving as a Grant Review Team Member for the Ontario Trillium Foundation since 2014, Rita evaluates and approves grants aimed at supporting community organizations in Essex, Kent, and Lambton Counties. Concurrently, since December 2005, Rita holds the position of Manager of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the Town of Lakeshore, where responsibilities include grant writing, economic development, policy formulation, and managing various communication platforms. Prior roles include Manager of Communications and Strategic Initiatives at the City of Windsor and Supervisor of Customer Service at Cypher Systems Group. Rita holds an Honours Bachelor of Commerce in Business Administration from the University of Windsor and has completed various educational programs, including an Ontario Management Development Certificate.
