Jay Barbeau

Jay Barbeau is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in municipal administration and community development. Since September 2000, Jay has served as Chief Administrative Officer for the Municipality of West Nipissing, while also acting as Managing Director of West Nipissing Power Generation Limited since May 2004, overseeing a 9 megawatt hydroelectric facility. Previously, Jay held the position of Director of Community Development for the Town of Rayside Balfour from July 1998 to September 2000. Educational qualifications include a Master's Municipal Administration Certificate from York University (2007) and an Honours Bachelor of Commerce from Laurentian University (1986).
