Kristopher Rivard

Kristopher Rivard serves as a Municipal Councillor for Ward 1 in the Municipality of West Nipissing since October 2022. Rivard has been an On-Site Sewage System Inspector for the North Bay-Mattawa Conservation Authority since April 2018, responsible for issuing permits and conducting inspections in compliance with the Ontario Building Code and local by-laws. Previous experience includes a brief candidacy as an MPP for the Green Party of Ontario and various roles in retail and education, including positions at The Beer Store and The Home Depot Canada. Rivard holds a Bachelor of Arts in Geography from Laurentian University and a Post-Graduate Certificate in Environmental Management from Canadore College.
