Wayne McKay

Wayne McKay has a strong background in information technology (IT) management and supply chain operations. Wayne began their career as an Engineering Technician at Newport Components Ltd in 1993 and later transitioned to the role of IT Engineer. In 2003, Wayne joined C&D Technologies as an IT Manager, where they managed local and wide area networks, as well as Microsoft Windows Server and GroupWare infrastructure. In 2007, they moved to Murata Power Solutions as the IT Manager for Europe and Asia, a role they held until 2014. Wayne then served as a Senior Manager in Information Technology at Murata before being promoted to Director of Information Technology in 2015. Currently, they hold the position of Director of IT & Supply Chain Management at Murata, overseeing the global team and leading strategic initiatives to optimize manufacturing, sourcing, transportation, and warehousing operations.

Wayne McKay has a background in engineering. Wayne attended De Montfort University from 1996 to 1998, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Before that, from 1993 to 1996, they attended Milton Keynes College and obtained a BTEC Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering.
