Marco Riva

Marco Riva is a data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning, data analysis, and software development. Currently employed at Murmuration since April 2023, Riva previously held a similar role at Mynd from October 2021 to January 2023. Riva completed a Data Science Fellowship at Springboard in 2021, where over 550 hours of practical training culminated in two significant capstone projects. Riva earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2020, following a Master of Science in the same field, and a second Master's in Energy and Nuclear Engineering from Politecnico di Torino. Riva's academic work involved advanced simulations for nuclear fusion applications and contributed to the development of more accurate numerical models, alongside successful grant proposals.
