Lawrence Bechler

Lawrence Bechler is an experienced legal professional serving as City Attorney for the City of Middleton, WI since December 1999. In addition, Lawrence has been a shareholder at Murphy Desmond S.C. since 1993 and was a partner at Jenswold, Studt, Hanson, Clark & Kaufmann from 1977 to 1993. Academic achievements include a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School, obtained between 1974 and 1977, and both a Master of Arts and a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Physical Anthropology from The Ohio State University, earned from 1972 to 1974 and 1968 to 1972, respectively. Lawrence’s educational background began at Shorewood High School, graduating in 1968.
