Steven Blocker

Steven Blocker currently serves as CEO of Muru Inc since May 2017 and holds a position as a Board Member for the Innovation & Research Subcommittee at the New York State Department of Health since June 2023. Blocker is also a Board Member at EMS Access since October 2022, focusing on modernizing volunteer EMS structures. Additionally, Blocker has been involved with the Vigilant Engine & Hook & Ladder Company since December 2007, holding various roles including Critical Care Paramedic and 1st Assistant Chief of Emergency Medical Services. Previous experience includes contributions to the American Heart Association's North East Regional Education Subcommittee and the NY State Leadership Development Committee. Blocker's educational background includes degrees in Emergency Medicine from Reed College, University of Maryland Baltimore County, and Kilgore College.
