Rob Burley

Rob Burley serves as the Director of Care, Communications and Support at Muscular Dystrophy UK since December 2018, leading efforts to improve specialist NHS neuromuscular care and support services for individuals affected by muscle-wasting conditions. Burley has previously held significant roles including Director of Campaigns, Care & Support at MDUK, Clore Social Leadership Fellow, and Trustee at Charityworks, while also leading strategic initiatives at vinspired and Alzheimer's Society. Burley's earlier work at Action on Hearing Loss involved driving legislative changes and public affairs strategies aimed at enhancing access to services for individuals with hearing loss. Burley's career in the charity sector began at Breakthrough Breast Cancer, where Burley was recognized with the ePolitix Charity Champions Charity of the Year award in 2008.
