Lieke Wijnia

Lieke Wijnia is the Head of Research & Library at Museum Catharijneconvent, a position held since April 2019, where notable contributions include the upcoming exhibition and publication "De Schepping van de Wetenschap" (2024). Wijnia has also been involved in various projects, such as the "Podcast Scheppingsdrift" and "Museums as Ritual Sites." In conjunction with work at the museum, Wijnia is a Fellow at the Centre for Religion & Heritage at the University of Groningen and has previously lectured at University College Utrecht and Tilburg University, focusing on Museum Studies and Visual Arts. With a Ph.D. in the Study of Religion & Cultural Studies from Tilburg University, Wijnia’s academic background includes significant research positions, including a fellowship at Rocky Mountain College and research roles at Gemeentemuseum Den Haag and Prenez la Parole.
