Suzanne Cotter

Suzanne Cotter is a prominent art museum director with extensive experience in contemporary art institutions. Currently serving as Director at the Museum of Contemporary Art Australia since January 2022, Cotter previously held directorships at Mudam Luxembourg and Serralves Museum of Contemporary Art from 2018 to 2022 and 2013 to 2018, respectively. Additionally, Cotter worked as a Senior Curator for the Guggenheim Abu Dhabi Project at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum from 2010 to 2012 and served in various curatorial roles at Modern Art Oxford and Hayward Gallery between 1998 and 2009. Cotter's academic background includes a Master’s degree in Art History, Criticism, and Conservation from The Courtauld Institute of Art and studies in Contemporary Art at the Ecole Du Louvre in Paris.
