Rukmini Girish

Rukmini Girish is an experienced arts management professional currently serving as the Box Office Systems Manager at the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago since January 2022. In this role, Rukmini builds and maintains ticketing for various events, optimizes the use of Tessitura CRM and Wordfly, and creates training materials for Visitor Experience staff. Prior to this, Rukmini held several positions at Steppenwolf Theatre Company from 2015 to 2022, culminating in the role of Assistant Audience Services Director, where responsibilities included managing box office operations and transitioning to a remote ticketing system during the pandemic. Rukmini's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Nonfiction from Columbia College Chicago and a Bachelor's Degree in Creative Writing and Sociology from Augustana College.
