Rachel Knight

Rachel Knight has a diverse work experience in the museum and cultural sector. Rachel has held various leadership roles, including Head of Exhibitions and Gallery Projects at the Museum of Science and Industry, Head of Exhibitions at the National Science and Media Museum, and Head of Exhibitions at the Imperial War Museum North. Rachel has also served as a Board Trustee at Manchester Craft & Design Centre and FutureEverything. In addition, they have volunteered as a Heritage Officer at Friends of Scholes Park, Gatley. Rachel has received professional development through the Clore Leadership Programme and has gained experience at the National Theatre and Cork City Gaol Heritage Centre and Radio Museum Experience.

Rachel Knight completed their Bachelor of Arts in History with honours from the University of Liverpool from 1996 to 1999. Rachel then pursued a Master's degree in Museum Studies at the University of Leicester from 2000 to 2001, specializing in Museums, Galleries, and Heritage. Prior to their university education, Rachel attended King Edward VI High School Stafford, although specific dates and areas of study are unknown.
