Akif Altan

Akif Altan is an experienced professional in foreign trade and international relations. Currently serving as the Secretary General of MUSIAD since September 2018, previously held the role of Deputy Secretary General. Responsibilities have included managing external relations, foreign trade, overseas organization, international relations, trade fairs, and EU projects. Prior experience includes serving as Deputy Secretary General at Bursa Ticaret ve Sanayi Odası and President at Loyal Foreign Trade and Consulting. Akif Altan’s educational background includes a Master's degree in Foreign Trade from Okan University, an Advanced qualification in English Language and Literature from GEOS International Colleges in Australia, and degrees in Foreign Trade and Economics from Anadolu University and Karadeniz Technical University, respectively.
