Luis Rivera

Luis Rivera has extensive experience in the music industry. Luis started their career as a Coordinator of Music Programming at Music Choice in 2009. Luis worked their way up to Associate Manager and then Senior Programmer, overseeing the programming strategy for Latin video content and the music programming functions for various Latin music channels. In 2013, they became the Manager of Multicultural Programming, where they managed the programming of Latin video and audio content and worked closely with record labels and artists. Luis was later promoted to Senior Manager and then Director of Multicultural Programming before becoming the Senior Director of Programming in 2019.

Before joining Music Choice, Luis worked as a Promotions Assistant at Warner Bros. Records, where they promoted music for East Coast Mixshow and worked with various artists. Luis also gained experience as a Studio Assistant Engineer at Platinum Sound Recording Studios, assisting the main studio engineer in recording and mixing sessions.
