Melinda Parks is an experienced educator currently serving as a teacher at Mustang Public Schools since June 2023. Previously, Melinda held a long tenure at Westmoore High School within Moore Public Schools from September 2001 to June 2023, where responsibilities included teaching Advanced Placement World History and Advanced Placement European History, advising senior students, and leading the Moore Love philanthropy initiative. Additionally, Melinda has been the Director of the OASC BASIC Leadership Workshop since September 2021 and served as Social Media Coordinator at Westmoore High School from August 2018 to June 2021. Earlier career roles include Director of Holocaust Education and Community Resources at the Jewish Federation of Greater Oklahoma City and HR Assistant at Express Personnel of Knoxville. Melinda holds a Doctor of Education degree in Educational Administration Curriculum and Supervision, a Master of Arts in History, and a Bachelor's Degree in History, all from the University of Oklahoma.
