Veronica Cannon has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Veronica began their career in 1993 as a Senior Manufacturing Consultant at Datalogix International, where they analyzed business and manufacturing problems and recommended solutions. Veronica then moved to OneWave, Incorporated in 1996 as a Sales Engineer, presenting custom solutions for Internet/Intranet enablement and backend integration. In 1997, Veronica joined POMS as a Presales Manager, establishing the presales team, demonstration environment and revolutionizing competitive sales events. In 2001, they became the Director of Systems Engineering at Digital Paper, which was acquired by ePlus. From 2003 to 2014, Veronica owned Lake Tahoe On Line, providing computer repair services for businesses and consumers and email and webhosting. In 2009, they began teaching computer classes at Sierra College Community Education. From 2014 to 2015, they were a Lead Developer and Full Stack Software Engineer at Trinity Applied Internet, developing custom applications integrating product data and marketing data for product catalogue websites. From 2017 to 2020, Veronica was a Senior Staff Software Engineer at Blackhawk Network, extending and enhancing product configuration application, both front end and back end components. Finally, they are currently a Technical Product Manager/Software Engineer at Mutations Limited.

Veronica Cannon attended California State University-Sacramento from 1992 to 1997, graduating with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Science. In 2014, they completed a fellowship at Hackbright Academy and a Rails course at O'Reilly School of Technology. In April 2017, Veronica obtained an Application Security and Secure Coding Training - Ruby on Rails certification from Codebashing.
