Athan Shinas

Athan Shinas serves as the Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary at Mutual of Enumclaw since September 2014, where responsibilities include leading the legal department and advising on corporate strategies. Additionally, Athan Shinas holds positions as a board member for the Arizona Property Casualty Insurance Guarantee Fund and the Northwest Insurance Council, where chair duties are also performed. Previous experience encompasses roles at Nationwide Insurance, including Managing Counsel and Regional Counsel within the Office of the Chief Legal and Governance Officer, and extensive legal representation with the New York State Department of Financial Services and the New York State Workers' Compensation Board.
