Scott Polley has extensive experience in technical operations, system design, and telecommunications engineering. Scott worked at Mutualink from 2012 onwards, starting as a Senior System Design Engineer & Customer Solutions Architect and later becoming the Director of Technical Operations. In these roles, they were responsible for overseeing sales engineering, training, and implementation teams, managing day-to-day activities, and ensuring project plans were successfully executed. Prior to Mutualink, Scott worked at Knight Point Systems as a Telecommunications Systems Design Engineer and at QinetiQ North America as an SME/Lead Tactical Engineer and Lead Communications Specialist. Scott began their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Radio E5/SGT, where they provided radio communications and connectivity solutions.
Scott Polley has a high school diploma from New Fairfield High School, obtained in the years 1993 to 1997. In terms of further education and certifications, they have a certificate in Fire Fighter I, Hazmat Operations & Hazmat Awareness from Connecticut State (2014) and multiple certificates related to emergency management from the FEMA Emergency Management Institute (2013). Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification (2010), a Certificate in Understanding Networking Fundamentals (2007), and completed courses in field radio operation and satellite communications while serving in the United States Marine Corps. Scott also holds certifications in CompTIA A+ and CompTIA Network+.
