Nikki Frenney-Wiggins has a diverse work experience spanning across various industries. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Staff Writer/Reporter for The News-Press, where they reported and wrote news stories on various topics. In 1996, they became a Public Information Officer for the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, acting as a liaison between the Governor's Office, FDLE, and the media. Nikki then joined the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (LYNX) in 2001, initially as a Manager of Media Relations, responsible for developing a proactive media relations program. Nikki also served as a Marketing Project Manager, overseeing the development of publications and managing contractors.
In 2004, Nikki joined MV Transportation, Inc as the VP of Communications & Government Relations, where they served as the company spokesperson and developed strategies to maintain a good relationship with the media. Nikki then became the Senior Vice President of Public Affairs and was accountable for identifying potential regulatory issues and managing relationships with government agencies and trade associations.
In 2011, Nikki co-founded FSquared Communications, LLC, a boutique public relations firm specializing in public and media relations, government affairs, and brand development. There, they successfully developed the agency's reputation within the non-profit and public sector community.
In 2013, Nikki served as the Director of Communications (Contracted) for the Office of Atlanta City Council President Ceasar Mitchell, where they developed and led the media and communications strategy.
Returning to MV Transportation in 2015, Nikki took on the role of Vice President of Communications & Business Development. Nikki managed all internal and external communications, served as a company spokesperson, and led the company's media and communications strategy.
Finally, in 2022, Nikki became the Vice President of Customer Success at MV Transportation, overseeing customer satisfaction and ensuring the company's success in meeting customer needs.
Nikki Frenney-Wiggins obtained their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Journalism from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University, where they studied from 1990 to 1994.
