Julie Sherard

Julie Sherard is a seasoned compliance professional with extensive experience in the affordable housing sector. Currently serving as Regional Compliance Manager at MVAH Partners LLC since 2020, Julie previously worked as a Compliance Consultant for Tax Credit Assurance, Inc. from 2019 to 2020, focusing on bringing troubled properties into compliance with HUD/HOME and Section 42 Program regulations. From 2004 to 2019, Julie held the position of Vice President, Director Of Compliance at Yarco Property Management, where oversight included compliance and risk management for over 10,000 units across LIHTC, Section 8, and HOME programs, managing a team of seven staff members. Earlier in Julie's career, a role as Director Of Compliance involved training and coordinating leasing strategies for LIHTC communities.
