Rhys Brown

Rhys Brown is a Senior Process Engineer at MWH Treatment since June 2021, where responsibilities include mentoring chemical engineers and serving as principal designer for wastewater projects focused on tertiary treatment and chemical phosphorus removal. Prior experience includes roles as a Process Engineer with ESD Joint Venture and Galliford Try, where contributions involved outline design for Perth WwTW and odour reduction projects, respectively. Rhys also served as a Process Commissioning Engineer at KMI+ and conducted foundational work as a Graduate Process Engineer at Interserve, contributing to various water treatment and energy projects. An early career role as a Graduate Engineer with Gulf Contracting Company involved procurement and site management in Qatar, and initial technical experience was gained as a Process Technician at Enpure, focusing on municipal solid waste research. Rhys holds a BSc in Physics from The University of York, awarded in 2013.
