Jonathan Richter has a diverse work experience. Jonathan is the CEO and Managing Partner of Winnona Partners, a custom software development and consulting company based in Atlanta, Georgia. At Winnona Partners, they help business owners transform their business by building custom software to fit their specific business processes. Prior to that, Jonathan worked as the Head of Product at My Panda. Additionally, they have experience as a China Relations Consultant at Baker Donelson, providing research and translation services for Chinese clientele. Jonathan also served as a Research Fellow for the Fulbright Program, where they received a grant to investigate and document the disappearing music tradition of the Yi ethnic minority group in China. Jonathan made a documentary as part of their project. Furthermore, they were a Foreign Language Area Studies (FLAS) Grant Recipient at the University of Hawaii at Manoa and acted as the Activities Officer for the Ethnomusicology Association (EMA). Lastly, Jonathan was a student scholarship recipient from the Bonner Foundation during their undergraduate degree, where they conducted community service in various programs and locations worldwide.
Jonathan Richter completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Music and International Studies- East Asia from Guilford College, where they studied from 2006 to 2010. In 2008, they participated in the CET Beijing Semester Abroad program at Capital Normal University. Continuing their education, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Music (ethnomusicology) from the University of Hawaii at Manoa, which they completed from 2010 to 2013.
