Marie Huamalies-Hayes, MA, currently serves as the Associate Editor for the Social Anthropology section of the Cambridge Journal of Human Behaviour, a position held since August 2024. In addition, Marie is a Graduate Student Representative for the Georgia Medieval Group, facilitating communications for the group as a volunteer since August 2023, and works as a Search Engine Optimization Strategist for My Social Practice since July 2023. Previously, from August 2022 to May 2024, Marie was a Graduate Writing Consultant for Archaeological Theory and Public Archaeology at Georgia State University, assisting students with their writing and citations, and also held the role of Graduate Teaching Assistant for Introduction to Cultural Anthropology. Marie's earlier experience includes serving as a Content Coordinator for Addiction Recovery from June 2020 to June 2023. Marie holds a Master of Arts in Anthropology from Georgia State University and previously earned a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology from the same institution.
