Shekhar Gupta

Shekhar Gupta has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. Shekhar began their career in 2002 as a co-founder and Managing Partner of HOK, an online ecommerce import/export wholesale company. Shekhar then co-founded BT Tel in 2002, providing voice over IP, storage, and secure email products to small stores and home businesses. In 2006, they joined Century Link as a Senior Manager of Network Ops Product Management, managing and working with engineering, product developers/mgt, marketing, and finance to successfully implement Smart Home, Smart Grid, Cloud Computing, e-Commerce portal, Hosted IP Centrex, and security product lines. In 2010, they joined OPNET Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Director of International Product Engineering, leading a highly technical International professional team of 15 to manage and implement a $10M budget and network/application performance monitoring software. In 2012, they joined Motorola Google/ARRIS as a Director of Global Systems Integration Software Product Management, extending product management and development by introducing Agile, SDLC processes and microservices platform. In 2017, they joined NIC Inc. as a Director of Digital Product Management and Blockchain Initiatives as a COO. In 2020, they joined Interacshn as a Chief Technology Officer and in 2021, they became the Chief Executive Officer of MYANIML.

Shekhar Gupta's education history includes a Doctorate in Ophthalmology & Optometry from Gandhi Eye Hospital, India (1987-1990), a BS in Electrical Engineering and Nuclear Physics from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1990-1994), a Master's Degree in Industrial and Product Design from University of Nebraska-Lincoln (1995-1996), an MBA from Harvard Business School (2008), and a Professional degree in Advanced Computer Security from Stanford University (2011). Additionally, Shekhar has obtained four certifications: Cryptography from Stanford (2012), Software Security Foundation from Stanford (2011), Global Management from Harvard (2010), and Leading Product Development from Harvard (2008).
