Doug Christoff

Director, Environmental Health And Safety at Myers Industries

Doug Christoff has extensive experience in environmental health and safety management. Doug is currently the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at Myers Industries, a position they have held since September 2020. Prior to that, they served as the Environmental Health and Safety Manager at Myers Industries, Inc. from 2008 to 2020. Before joining Myers Industries, Doug worked as the Environmental, Health and Safety Manager at Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics Corporation from 2000 to 2008. Doug also worked as a Safety Manager at FMC Corporation from 1999 to 2000, and as the Manager of Safety and Protective Services at Sulzer Medica from 1996 to 1999. Doug began their career as a Senior Safety Coordinator at Exxon Chemical, where they worked from 1987 to 1996.

Doug Christoff attended Indiana University of Pennsylvania from 1982 to 1987, where they pursued a degree in Safety Sciences, with a field of study in Industrial Safety. In 1992, they obtained the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification from the Board of Certified Safety Professionals. Later, from 2000 to 2001, they enrolled at Columbia Southern University and earned a Certificate in Certified Environmental Compliance Manager.
