Leo Chiu has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Leo started their career as a Co-Founder and CTO at Apptera Inc. in 2001, where they played a key role in the development and growth of the company until 2007. Leo then joined Webjuice as the CTO & VP Engineering, where they served from 2007 to 2011. In this role, they were responsible for leading the engineering team. Leo then took on the role of an Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) at a new venture exploration firm from 2011 to 2012. Leo's most recent role was as a Founding Engineer at MyFitnessPal. Leo was one of the initial employees and contributed to the growth and scalability of the company's mobile and web infrastructure. Leo'sresponsibilities included enabling data integration with IoT fitness gear partners, as well as leading the big data initiative to turn collected data into actionable insights for users. MyFitnessPal was later acquired by Under Armour for $475 million.
Leo Chiu has a Master's degree in Operation Research from Stanford University.
